Overview
Connecting WhatsApp lets you send and receive messages with clients directly from Cloudclerk. You need a WhatsApp Business account and credentials from the Meta Business Platform.
Connecting WhatsApp Business
- 1Open Settings → WhatsApp under Channels
- 2Enter the required credentials from Meta Business Manager: Phone Number ID, Business Account ID, and Access Token (permanent token from Meta)
- 3Optionally enter your Phone Number and Display Name
- 4Click Connect WhatsApp
Once connected, the page shows your display name, phone number, and a Webhook Configuration section with a verify token. You need this token when configuring the webhook callback URL in Meta Business Manager.
Copy the webhook verify token using the copy button and paste it into your Meta webhook configuration. This allows Cloudclerk to receive inbound messages and delivery status updates.
Disconnecting
Click Disconnect on the connection card and confirm. Message history is preserved, but new messages will no longer be sent or received.
