Overview
Notification preferences let you control how you are alerted about activity in Cloudclerk. You can configure each notification type independently, choosing whether to receive in-app notifications, email notifications, or both.
Configuring Preferences
- 1Open Settings → Notifications under Channels
- 2Click a category to expand it (e.g. Tasks, Documents, Invoices)
- 3For each notification type, toggle In-app and Email on or off
- 4If email is enabled, choose the frequency: Immediate (sent straight away) or Daily digest (bundled into a single summary email)
Changes are saved automatically as you toggle each setting.
Notification categories
Notifications are grouped into eight categories: Tasks & Assignments, Documents & Signing, Clients & Contacts, Tax & Compliance, Invoices & Payments, Processes & Workflows, Conversations & Mentions, and System & Admin. Each category shows a summary of how many notification types are set to email.
Resetting to Defaults
If you have changed many settings and want to start fresh, click Reset to defaults at the bottom of the page. This restores all notification preferences to their original state.
In-app notifications appear in the bell icon menu in the header. Email notifications are sent to your account email address.
