Overview
The client list is the main entry point for managing your client portfolio. It supports two view modes, full-text search, status and type filters, bulk actions, CSV export, and saved table views. An Analytics button in the header links to the client analytics dashboard.
Switching Between Card and Table View
Use the View Toggle in the top-right header to switch between card view and table view. Card view shows each client as a compact card with their name, status, business type, and manager. Table view provides a full data table with sortable columns, filters, and row selection.
Searching and Filtering
In card view, a Search clients... input appears above the cards. In table view, the search bar is built into the toolbar. Search matches against client name and manager name.
Table view also provides two faceted filter buttons in the toolbar:
- Status — filter by Active, Prospect, or Archived
- Type — filter by Sole Trader, Limited Company, Partnership, LLP, Charity, or Other
Table Columns
In table view, the following columns are available: Name, Primary Contact, Email, Phone, Type, Manager, Outstanding, Overdue, and Status. Any custom fields defined for the client entity also appear as additional columns. Click a column header to sort by that column.
Each row shows a star icon that you can click to add or remove the client from your favourites. A red badge next to a client name indicates the number of pending actions for that client.
Saved Views
In table view, the Views selector lets you save the current combination of visible columns, pinning, sort order, and active filters as a named view. You can create, update, delete, share views with your team, and set a default view that loads automatically.
Bulk Actions
- 1Switch to table view if you are not already in it.
- 2Select one or more clients using the checkboxes on the left of each row.
- 3
Use the action buttons that appear above the table:

- Unlink from Xero — remove the Xero link for selected clients
- Delete — delete the selected clients (hold Shift and click to skip the confirmation dialog)
Deleting clients cannot be undone. You will be asked to confirm unless you hold Shift when clicking Delete.
Adding a New Client
Click the Add Client button in the top-right corner to navigate to the create client form. You can also press N from anywhere on the client list page to open the same form.
Xero Sync
If your organisation has an active Xero connection, a Xero Sync button appears in the header. Clicking it opens a sheet where you can import contacts from Xero or push clients to Xero.
Presence Indicators
Avatars in the page header show which team members are currently viewing the client list in real time.
