Overview
When your accountant needs you to sign a document, it will appear on the Documents to Sign page. You can review the document, provide your signature by drawing or typing, and submit it. A signed PDF certificate is generated automatically.
Viewing Signing Requests
Navigate to Documents → Documents to Sign in the top menu. The table shows every document you have been asked to sign:
- Document — the name of the file
- Sent — when the request was created
- Status — shows Action Required if you need to sign, or the current status (Signed, Declined)
- Action — a View & Sign button for pending requests, or View for completed ones
Click a document name or the action button to open the detail page.
Reviewing the Document
The detail page shows:
- A Message from your accountant with any instructions
- A Document card showing the file name and description, with a View Document button to download or open the file
Review the document carefully before signing. Click View Document to open it in a new tab so you can read the full contents.
Signing a Document
- 1Open the signing request and scroll down to the Sign Document section
- 2Enter your full legal name in the Full Name field

Choose how to provide your signature:
- Draw — use the signature pad to draw your signature with your mouse or finger on a touchscreen
- Type — type your name and see a live preview of how it will look as a signature
- Use my saved signature — if you have a saved signature from a previous signing, click this button to reuse it
- 4Tick Save my signature for future documents if you would like to save your signature for next time
- 5Click Sign & Submit
Once signed, a confirmation message will appear showing the date you signed and the name used.
When drawing your signature, you can undo the last stroke or clear the entire signature using the buttons beneath the drawing area.
Declining a Signing Request
If you are unable to sign the document, you can decline the request.
- 1Open the signing request and scroll down to the action buttons
- 2Click Decline
- 3In the dialogue, enter your reason for declining
- 4Click Decline to confirm
Your accountant will be notified and can follow up with you directly.
If a signing request has expired, you will see a message asking you to contact your accountant. You will not be able to sign or decline an expired request.
