Overview
The dashboard is the first page you see after logging in. It gives you a summary of everything that needs your attention and quick links to all areas of your account.
The Greeting and Account Summary
At the top of the page you will see a personalised greeting with your first name and the message "Here's an overview of your account". Below this, the dashboard is split into two sections.
Action Needed
If there is anything that requires your attention, an Action needed section appears at the top. Each card shows a count and links directly to the relevant page. You may see cards for:
- Document Requests — documents your accountant has asked you to upload, with the number pending and any deadline
- Proposals — proposals awaiting your response
- Documents to Sign — documents that need your signature
- Overdue Invoices — invoices past their due date (highlighted in red)
- Questionnaire — a compliance questionnaire to complete
- Messages — unread messages from your accountant
Each card shows the number of items and, where applicable, how soon the earliest deadline is. Click any card to go straight to that section.
The action needed section only appears when there are items requiring your attention. If everything is up to date, you will only see the account overview below.
Your Account
Below the action items, the Your account section shows overview cards for each area of the portal:
- Messages — shows your unread message count or "No new messages"
- Documents — shows the total number of documents shared with you
- Invoices — shows your total invoice count
- Progress — links to your ongoing processes
- Proposals — appears when you have proposals on file
- Signing Requests — appears when you have signing requests
- Questionnaire — appears when you have a submitted or completed questionnaire
Click any card to navigate to that section.
The dashboard updates automatically in real time. When your accountant sends a message, uploads a document, or changes a request, the counts refresh without you needing to reload the page.
