Overview
The Progress page lets you see how work your accountant is doing for you is coming along. When your accountant shares a process with you, you can follow each stage from start to finish without needing to call or email for updates.
Viewing Your Processes
- 1From the portal navigation, click Progress
- 2You will see a list of processes your accountant has shared with you
If no processes have been shared yet, you will see a message reading "No processes yet" with a note that active processes will appear here.
Understanding a Process Card
Each process is shown as a card with the following details:
- Process name — a description of the work, such as "Year-End Accounts" or "VAT Return"
- Status badge — the overall status of the process
- Start date and due date — when the work began and when it is expected to be completed
- Progress bar — a visual indicator showing the percentage of stages completed
Process Statuses
| Status | What it means | |--------|--------------| | Not Started | The process has been created but work has not begun | | In Progress | Work is currently underway | | Completed | All stages have been finished | | Cancelled | The process has been stopped |
Following Stage Progress
Below the progress bar, each stage of the process is listed with an icon and label showing its current status:
- Pending — this stage has not started yet
- Active — this stage is currently being worked on
- Completed — this stage is finished
- Skipped — this stage was not needed and has been bypassed
Stages are shown in order, giving you a clear picture of what has been done, what is happening now, and what is still to come.
You do not need to take any action on this page. It is purely for your information so you can track progress without needing to contact your accountant for updates.
