Overview
When your accountant sends you a proposal, it appears on the Proposals page in your portal. You can review the services and pricing, then accept with a signature or decline with a reason.
Viewing Your Proposals
Navigate to Account → Proposals in the top menu. You will see a table listing every proposal you have received, with the following columns:
- Proposal — the date the proposal was sent
- Sent — the date your accountant sent it
- Status — shows Action Required if you need to respond, or the current status (Accepted, Declined, Expired)
- Value — the total cost of the proposed services
Click a proposal to open its detail page.
Reviewing a Proposal
The proposal detail page shows:
- A Message from your accountant explaining the proposal
- Packages with the services included and their pricing
- Documents such as engagement letters or terms of business
If more than one package is available, each one is displayed as a card showing the services and a total price. A package marked Recommended is the one your accountant suggests.
Accepting a Proposal
- 1Select the package you would like by clicking its card — it will be highlighted with a border
- 2Scroll down to the Accept or Decline section
- 3Enter your full legal name in the Full Name field

Provide your signature using one of these methods:
- Draw your signature in the signature box using your mouse or finger on a touchscreen
- Use my saved signature if you have signed a document before and saved your signature
- 5Tick Save my signature for future documents if you would like to reuse this signature next time
- 6Click Accept Proposal
You can undo or clear your drawn signature using the undo and clear buttons beneath the signature box.
Declining a Proposal
- 1Open the proposal and scroll down to the Accept or Decline section
- 2Click Decline
- 3In the dialogue that appears, enter your reason for declining
- 4Click Decline Proposal
Your accountant will be able to see your reason and may follow up or send a revised proposal.
If a proposal has passed its expiry date, you will see a message asking you to contact your accountant for a new proposal. You will not be able to accept or decline an expired proposal.
