Overview
The Cloudclerk client portal is where you can view documents, respond to proposals, sign paperwork, check invoices, and communicate with your accountant. This guide walks you through logging in for the first time and finding your way around.
Logging In
Your accountant will set up your portal account and provide your login credentials.
- 1Go to the portal login page provided by your accountant
- 2Enter your Email and Password
- 3Optionally toggle Remember sign in details to stay logged in on this device
- 4Click Log in
If you have forgotten your password or cannot log in, contact your accountant and ask them to reset your portal access.
Navigating the Portal
Once logged in, you will see a navigation bar across the top of the page. On smaller screens, tap the menu icon to open the navigation panel.
The portal is organised into the following sections:
- Home — your dashboard showing a summary of outstanding items, recent activity, and anything that needs your attention
- Messages — a conversation thread with your accountant where you can send and receive messages
- Documents (dropdown group):
- Documents — files your accountant has shared with you, available to download
- Document Requests — a list of documents your accountant needs from you, with the ability to upload files
- Documents to Sign — documents waiting for your digital signature
- Account (dropdown group):
- Proposals — service proposals from your accountant that you can accept or decline
- Invoices — your invoice history with the option to download PDF copies
- Questionnaire — a form to provide personal and financial details when requested
- Progress — a view of your ongoing work showing which stages are complete
Badge counts appear next to menu items when there are items needing your attention, such as pending signing requests or unread messages.
Your Name and Logging Out
Your name is displayed in the top-right corner of the page. To log out, click the log out icon next to your name.
