Overview
Cloudclerk delivers real-time notifications whenever something relevant happens in your practice, such as a task being assigned to you, a document upload, or an invoice payment. You can preview the latest notifications from the bell icon in the top bar, or open the full notifications page to search, filter, and manage them in bulk.
The Notification Bell
The bell icon sits in the top-right corner of the dashboard. When you have unread notifications, a red badge displays the count (capped at 99+).
- 1Click the bell icon to open the notification dropdown
- 2Browse your most recent notifications in the scrollable list
- 3Click a notification to mark it as read and navigate to the related record
Unread notifications appear in bold with a coloured dot on the left. Once read, they fade to a lighter style.
If you have unread notifications, a Mark all as read link appears at the top of the dropdown. Click it to clear every unread indicator at once.
At the bottom of the dropdown, click View all to open the full notifications page.
The Notifications Page
Open the full page by clicking View all in the dropdown. The page displays all your notifications in a sortable, searchable table.
Searching and Filtering
Type into the Search notifications... field above the table to filter by title. Use the Status filter beside it to show only Unread or Read notifications. The Type column is sortable, so you can group notifications by event type.
Combine the search field with the status filter to quickly find a specific unread notification.
When you have unread notifications, a Mark all as read button appears in the page header. Click it to mark every notification as read in one action.
Bulk Actions
Select multiple notifications using the checkboxes on each row, then use the bulk action buttons that appear above the table.
- 1
Tick the checkboxes next to the notifications you want to act on, or use the header checkbox to select all visible rows.
- 2
Choose an action:
- Mark Read marks all selected unread notifications as read
- Delete removes the selected notifications permanently
Hold ⇧ and click the Delete button to skip the confirmation dialog and delete immediately.
Clicking a Notification
Clicking any notification row does two things: it marks the notification as read (if it is not already) and navigates you to the related record. For example, a task assignment notification takes you to that task's detail page, and an invoice notification opens the invoice.
