Overview
The invoice list is the central hub for managing invoices and credit notes. It displays KPI cards with comparison periods, a searchable and filterable data table, bulk actions, saved views, and CSV export. An Analytics button in the header links to the invoicing analytics dashboard.
KPI Cards
Four summary cards appear at the top of the page: Total Invoiced, Total Paid, Outstanding, and Invoices (count). Each card shows the current value and a percentage change compared to a previous period. Use the comparison period selector above the cards to switch between Previous Month, Previous Quarter, Previous Year, or None.
Table Columns
The table includes the following columns: Invoice Number, Client, Type, Issue Date, Due Date, Total, Amount Due, Status, and Provider. Any custom fields defined for the invoice entity appear as additional columns. Click a column header to sort by that column.
Voided invoices are shown with strikethrough text across all columns.
Searching and Filtering
Use the Search invoices... input in the toolbar to filter by invoice number. Two faceted filter buttons are also available:
- Status — filter by Draft, Sent, Partially Paid, Paid, Overdue, or Void
- Type — filter by Invoice or Credit Note
A date range picker in the toolbar lets you narrow results by issue date.
Saved Views
The Views selector lets you save the current combination of visible columns, pinning, sort order, and active filters as a named view. You can create, update, delete, share views with your team, and set a default view that loads automatically.
Bulk Actions

Use the action buttons that appear above the table:
- Change Status — set all selected invoices to any status (Draft, Sent, Partially Paid, Paid, Overdue, or Void)
- Export CSV — download the selected invoices as a CSV file
- Export to Xero — push unsynced invoices to your connected Xero account (only visible when a Xero connection is active)
- Delete — delete selected draft invoices (only drafts can be deleted; hold Shift and click to skip the confirmation dialog)
Only draft invoices can be deleted. If your selection includes non-draft invoices, the delete button shows how many drafts will be affected.
Creating a New Invoice or Credit Note
Click the Create button in the top-right corner to open a dropdown with two options:
- Create Invoice (shortcut: press 1 while the menu is open)
- Create Credit Note (shortcut: press 2 while the menu is open)
You can also press N from anywhere on the invoice list page to open the create menu.
Presence Indicators
Avatars in the page header show which team members are currently viewing the invoice list in real time.
