Overview
The calendar gives you a visual timeline of tasks, invoices, tax periods, document requests, signing requests, and custom events. Three view modes let you zoom in or out: Month, Week, and Day. A sidebar with a mini month picker and layer toggles sits on the left, while a detail panel opens on the right when you select an item.
Switching Views
Use the segmented toggle in the top-right corner of the calendar header. The three buttons are Month, Week, and Day. The active view is highlighted.
Navigating Dates
- 1
Click Today to jump back to the current date.
- 2
Use the left and right chevron arrows beside Today to move backward or forward by one month, week, or day depending on the active view.
- 3
Click any date in the mini month picker in the sidebar to jump directly to that date.
The header always shows the current date range — for example "March 2026" in month view, "17 Mar — 23 Mar 2026" in week view, or "Friday 21 March 2026" in day view.
Month View
Displays a full calendar grid with week numbers down the left edge. Each cell shows colour-coded pills for items on that date. Multi-day items span across cells as a continuous bar. If a cell has more items than can be displayed, a +N more link appears.
Hover over any pill to see a card with the item title, type, date, status, priority, category, and client name. Click a pill to open the detail panel.
Week View
Shows seven day columns with an hourly time grid. A sticky header row displays the day name and date number. An all-day row beneath the header holds items that have no specific time. Timed items appear as blocks positioned at their start time, sized by duration. A red line marks the current time on today's column.
Day View
A single-column hourly grid for the selected date. A hover indicator follows your cursor, showing the exact time at that position. All-day items appear in a section above the time grid. Timed items display their title, time range, and client name.
In week and day views the calendar auto-scrolls to the current time on first load, so you always see what is happening now.
Detail Panel
Click any item pill to open a panel on the right. The panel shows the item title, type icon, date range, status, priority, category, and client name. For calendar events you also see edit and delete buttons. Click Open Task, Open Invoice, or the relevant link to navigate to the full record.
