Overview
Before you can add packages to a proposal, you need to set up your firm's services and bundle them into packages. Services represent individual offerings (such as Accounts Production or Tax Planning), while packages group services together with pricing into tiers you can present to clients.
Managing Services
Services are the building blocks of packages. Each service has a name, a base price, and optional default payment terms.
Creating a Service
- 1Navigate to Services in the sidebar and click Add Service (or press N).
- 2
Fill in the service details in the dialog:
- Name (required) — the service name, for example "Accounts Production"
- Base Price (required) — the default price in pounds
- Default Payment Terms — optionally set a default frequency: Monthly, Quarterly, Annually, or One-off. Select "No default" to leave it unset
- 3Click Create (or press ⌘+↵) to save the service.
Editing and Deleting Services
Click the pencil icon on any row to open the edit dialog, where you can update the Name, Base Price, or Default Payment Terms. Click the bin icon to delete a service.
Service Table Columns
The table shows three columns: Name, Base Price, and Default Payment Terms. You can search by name using the Search services... box.
Managing Packages
Packages bundle services together with a colour-coded tier, pricing, and display preferences.
Creating a Package
- 1Navigate to Packages in the sidebar and click Create Package (or press N).
- 2
Fill in the package details:
- Package Name (required) — for example "Silver Package - Compliance + Tax Planning"
- Description (required) — a summary of what the package includes
- Package Colour — select one of 11 colour options (Slate, Red, Orange, Amber, Emerald, Teal, Blue, Indigo, Purple, Pink, or Rose)
- 3
Set the display toggles:
- Recommended — marks this as the recommended package on proposals
- Show Price — controls whether pricing is visible to clients
- Show Quantity — controls whether quantities are visible to clients
- 4Click Add Service to add services from your service catalogue. For each service, set the Quote, Payment Terms, and Qty. The line total updates automatically. To add every available service at once, click Add All at the bottom of the dropdown.
- 5Click Create Package (or press ⌘+↵) to save.
A live preview card appears on the right side of the form, showing exactly how the package will look to clients on a proposal.
Editing a Package
Click any package in the list to open it. Update the name, description, colour, toggles, or services, then click Update Package. You can delete a package from the edit page by opening the actions menu and selecting Delete.
Packages List Page
The packages page supports two view modes — toggle between card view and table view using the view toggle in the header.
In card view, each package shows its colour dot, name, description, service count, recommended badge (if set), and total price (if prices are shown). Use the Search packages... box to filter by name or description.
In table view, the table shows the following columns:
- Name — colour dot, package name, and a Recommended badge if applicable
- Description — a single-line summary
- Services — the number of services in the package
- Total — the total price if pricing is visible
Bulk Actions
In table view, tick the checkboxes on the left of one or more rows to reveal the bulk action bar:
- Export — download the selected packages as a CSV file
- Delete — delete the selected packages (hold Shift and click to skip the confirmation prompt)
