Overview
Any saved report can be scheduled to run automatically and deliver results by email. Cloudclerk checks for due reports every hour and uses a background queue to generate and send them, so delivery happens without any manual effort.
Adding a Schedule When Saving
You can attach a schedule at the point of saving a report, whether from the custom report builder or from a pre-built report preview.
- 1
In the Save Report dialog, toggle Enable scheduled execution on.
- 2
Select a Frequency from the dropdown:
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- 3
In the Recipients field, enter one or more email addresses separated by commas. These are the people who will receive the report by email each time it runs.
- 4
Click Save Report to confirm.
The scheduled report check runs every hour. Reports are queued for generation and emailed to all listed recipients when they are due.
Identifying Scheduled Reports
On the reports page, any saved report with a schedule displays a badge in the Schedule column showing the frequency — for example Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
When viewing a saved report's detail page, a schedule badge also appears in the metadata row beneath the page title.
Viewing a Saved Report
- 1
Open the Reports page and click a row in the Saved Reports table.
- 2
The detail page shows the report name, row count, and the timestamp when it was last generated.
- 3
Use the header buttons to manage the report:
- Refresh — re-run the report and reload the results
- PDF — generate and download a PDF of the current results
- Delete — permanently delete the report definition and its schedule
Sharing Reports
Reports can be either private or shared. When saved with Share with team enabled, the report appears in the saved reports table for all staff. Private reports are visible only to the person who created them. The Visibility column in the saved reports table shows a Shared badge for shared reports.
Deleting a scheduled report removes both the definition and its schedule. Any future scheduled runs are cancelled immediately.
